Meet the Band

Brian A. McCarty (Guitars, Vocals, Vibraslap)

He never dreamed of being a model, but now he cannot stop! With riveting riffs and gigaton grooves, Brian jams on his signature McCarty guitar so hard the fretboard might spontaneously combust. And he sings like you can touch the inner reaches of his soul…if you can touch one's soul. Beware costume changes–funky music cannot be unseen!

Mark Horneffer (Guitars, Vocals, Keyboard, Harmonica, Vibraslap)

Is there anything Mark cannot do? We haven’t found it yet! And as you can tell from the list of instruments, it’s not like we haven’t tried. Aside from soaring leads and sparkling rhythms, Mark dazzles with vocal stylings that Adele might admire (well…she might!). He can switch instruments faster than a photon can fly through space. And he’s just as energetic to boot!

Dave Sinense (Bass, Vocals, Violin)

Often confused with Sanjay Gupta, Dave is WAY better at rhythm and groove. He’s got more plays than Eric Spoelstra and when he cracks out his violin he damn near sets the strings on FIRE! Wait, there’s more? Yup! He sings like a lark and harmonizes like a synthesizer. Not to mention, he’s just so dang cool.

Joe Rousseau - Drums

Drums. And maracas if necessary, which is never. Nearly as explosive as any Spinal Tap drummer (although luckily not THAT explosive), Joe has been keeping the groove steady since when the year started with the number 19.

Jim Rayford (Trumpet, Percussion)

Jim has added the sweet resonance of brass to the Part Time Models for a year and a half. When he’s not arpeggiating his way through a soulful solo or transforming tunes like Jumping Jack Flash into something…just a whole lot cooler, he’s grooving and shaking it up with tambourines, shakers, and sometimes even chimes!

Robert Ziobro (Saxophone, percussion)

Robert trained his entire life knowing that one day he might become a Part Time Model. To this end he studied music at Lawrence University and got so good at the sax that some people compare him favorably to Charlie Parker. But Charlie Parker was never a Part Time Model! Scintillating solos and gorgeous grooves are his signature. But when not soaring amongst the stars on the sax, he can be found jamming along with percussion.

Keaton Galezio (Trombone, Percussion)

While Keaton may be the newest model to join the band, he feels right at home on the stage. With his powerful and sizzling tone, Keaton is excited to bring some "heavy metal" to Part Time Models (Yes, trombones are made of metal and can be heavy). People have said he wields the power of Zeus in his right elbow, he is too humble to admit it, so you'll just have to take our word for it. When he's not sawing on the trombones, find him shaking that shaker and grooving like an old time LP.

Retired Models

Chris Bastin (Trumpet, percussion)

Having earned street cred for Part Time Models by playing first trumpet in the University of Wisconsin marching band, this Brookfield East Alum now brings it over the top with energy, savvy and pizzaz. He can flap those valves so fast you’d think his fingers would fall off. In between sonorous solos and brass blasts, find him grooving along with percussion and dancing like Justin Timberlake!

Tom Swigert (Trumpet, Flugelhorn)

Tom started his part time modeling journey as a rakish stallion at the Sheboygan Bridal Fair, but he always dreamed of more. Forty years after setting his lips to the right end of the trumpet, he's finally found a modeling job where he can Jump, Jive and Wail and never be a bridesmaid again. He's played in the Milwaukee area since 2011 but now he hits the BIG TIME. Welcome Tom to PTM 2024!

Don Momsen (Drums)

Don has been knocking out rhythms since around the time that Rocky knocked out Apollo Creed (that’s Rocky II y’all), which is crazy since he looks like he’s 30 years old! Steadier than a metronome and crisper than a fresh baked cookie, he pounds out dancing beats like a DJ in the club. Only difference is he does it himself!

Manny Galang (Drums)

One of the ORIGINAL Part Time Models, Manny pounded out grooves so solid that metronomes had to be recalibrated.  His energy and vocals made the PTMs legends before even they knew such a thing was possible. Our brother may have left the band, but he will always be a PTM!
